This product involves a physical fair market inspection of the aircraft, audit of aircraft flight logs, aircraft and engine maintenance records and related FAA records. Current Fair Market Value is determined by specific characteristics of the aircraft that is a result of an investigation of its condition and history using the market approach to value. The appraisal is presented in a written summary USPAP report.
USPAP Certified Desktop Appraisal:
This appraisal is characterized by the absence of a physical fair market inspection of the aircraft and all related logs to the aircraft. Analytic detail pertaining to the reported condition of the aircraft and logs are provided by the client or designated 3rd party. Current Fair Market Value is determined through an investigation of reported and discovered information using the market approach to value. The appraisal is presented in a written summary USPAP report.
Aircraft Collateral Verification & Audit:
This report is characterized by the absence of the assignment of a Current Fair Market Value to the aircraft. Work scope provides an on-site inspection of the aircraft and audit of aircraft logs. The report is completed in written text.
The sole purpose of this product is to verify the existence and general physical condition of an aircraft and its logs.
Diminution of Value:
Diminution of value is extremely subjective and requires an on-site inspection of the aircraft and audit of log books and related records. A complete review of the damage inflicted to the aircraft is investigated. Conclusions are presented in a restricted USPAP summary report. This report is not intended to be used as a tool to determine the airworthiness or serviceability of the aircraft. The sole purpose of this report is to verify damage and report, if any, diminution of value.
